Jayden (JD) Van Stee is a songwriter and producer rooted in storytelling, emotional honesty, and vulnerability. Blending emotional lyrics and moody production, his work transforms deep, personal experience into music that resonates with the listener. His goal is to create music that connects with listeners and gives a voice to those unspoken feelings everyone has.
Growing up in the small town of Middleville, Michigan, JD Van Stee started producing music during the Pandemic of 2020. While locked down in his home, he first learned the craft and wanted to study it even deeper. He studied at Liberty University for a Bachelor of Science in Commercial Music. Honing his craft and studying under esteemed professors in the School of Music, he studied genres from heavy metal to jazz and R&B. In all genres, he found deep meaning in all forms of music that he came across. He specializes in rock and cinematic-themed music and will always accept a challenge.
With musical influences from Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, RED to Tommy Profit, Alex Warren, John Mayer, and Rex Orange County, JD Van Stee is always expanding his musical palette.
